| Programme Note | I am composing a series of pieces on the theme of "Towards Infinity". I call these attempts "exercises". This one is for string quartet. It is a slow, tense journey towards some far-off horizon. Sometimes, tiny fragments of melody (beginings, middles, endings) emerge - as if they have been hidden in the ether. |
