| Programme Note | The piano pursues the horn. The horn's music moves upwards, as it tries to escape. The piano "bombards" the horn with trills and dischords. The horn finally escapes the piano's clutches. The piano "settles" with music at each end of its range. The roles are then reversed as the horn chases the piano.The music then moves slowly from unease to a sense of peace. |
