| Programme Note | This - partially graphic - score consists of a series of Xs. The musical phrase comes to an end when the X is completed, so the performers should make a very small break between one X and the next. The music begins at the top left hand corner of the X and ends at the bottom right hand corner. Simultaneously, the same music moves backwards from the bottom left hand corner to the top right hand corner of each X. -Jane Serter, February 2019 |
