| Notes | (Percussion consists of bowl & spoon, plate with knife & fork and mug with teaspoon) Inspired by the Hunt Museum's "The Evolution of Dining" exhibition (No longer running during the 20th April 2012 event). Was Dining created in 4000 BC or did it develop slowly and embarrassingly from earlier simpler forms of eating? This series of Dining-related pieces puts the facts on the table, laying them out without prejudice or preconception, forks on the left, knives on the right, allowing you to come to your own conclusions. 1. Primaeval Soup (1 min) 2. Plat Tectonique Du Jour (1 1/2 min) 3. Sticky and Runny Stuff (1 1/2 min) 4. Tea (1 min) The Sorbet Dance (appended) is an optional extra which can be played between any of the movements, i.e. between 1 & 2, and/or 2 & 3, and/or 3 & 4. |
