| Programme Note | These little pieces have in common the attribute of overflowing, or setting limits which are then overstepped - hence their overall title. Each piece deals with a different aspect of this phenomenon, as indicated in the subtitles. The original piece was for cello & bassoon. When I arranged it for cello & bass clarinet, I extended the final étude a little. |
